Zachary Hyman, Co-Managing Partner
Co-Managing Partner Zachary Hyman brings extensive entrepreneurial background and financial expertise to Central Payment (www.cpay.com).
Having worked in the financial services industry since 1999, Zachary co-founded Central Payment, with his twin brother Matthew in 2005. Together, they have built Central Payment into a dynamic, industry-leading organization with nationwide operations and an extensive customer base in a variety of industries.
“This is an industry which Matthew and I have a passion for,” Zachary says, “and we each have developed an expertise in certain aspects of the business. This has allowed us to collaborate and build a dynamic, national company that has become an industry leader by offering creative solutions to our customers. We also benefit from a senior staff which has worked with us for many years, here and at our predecessor company.”
In 2000, Zachary also co-founded CardPayment Solutions, Inc., a bankcard service provider. Within three years, CardPayment Solutions had become one of the nation’s fastest growing processing companies. In 2003, the brothers sold the Company to iPayment, Inc., and remained with the firm for two more years.
With a passion for outside sales and implementation of innovative technology solutions, Zachary decided that the bankcard industry was where he could build a company which would combine his interests and knowledge. When his contract with iPayment ended in 2005, he and his brother created Central Payment.

Matthew Hyman, Co-Managing Partner
Co-Managing Partner, Matthew Hyman brings more than a decade of payment and financial services experience to Central Payment.
Matthew, whose business expertise is in operations and merchant relationship development, entered the payment and bankcard industry in 2000 with the foundation of CardPayment Solutions, Inc., with his twin brother Zachary Hyman.
Together, they have built Central Payment into a dynamic, industry-leading organization with nationwide operations and an extensive customer list in a variety of retail industries.
“Zachary and I share a love of the industry,” Matthew says, “and a desire to create a dynamic, national company with a broad set of capabilities to service merchants and establishments across a broad spectrum of industries. We have built an experienced leadership team with an entrepreneurial spirit which supports our growth objectives and our customers needs. Many of our senior staff has worked with us at our predecessor company, which contributes to our seamless operations.”
As Co-Founder and Managing Partner of CardPayment Solutions, Inc., Matthew applies his leadership to overseeing operations and to developing merchant relationships with business owners.

Tom Mulkins, Director of Information Technology
Tom Mulkins is the Director of Information Technology for Central Payment after having held a similar position at the predecessor company Card Payment Solutions, Inc., where he developed the company’s technology infrastructure.
Since joining Central Payment in 2006, he has managed the IT Department whose activities include website and system administration, database maintenance, help desk support, programming and networking.
Tom was previously the IT administrator at Registration Control Systems. He entered the payment processing industry in 2001 as IT Director at Card Payment Solutions, the predecessor company to Central Payment, and is currently pursuing a masters degree at Dominican University in San Rafael, CA.

John Hinkle, General Counsel/CFO
As General Counsel and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), John Hinkle is responsible for both the legal and fiduciary functions at Central Payment.
Being both a lawyer and a CPA, John combines two important areas of expertise to provide Central Payment with a senior executive who can work through the legal and financial aspects of the transaction processing industry on behalf of clients.
John holds both a BA and an MBA from Southeast Missouri State University and a law degree from Southern Illinois University. Prior to joining CPAY, Hinkle has previously served as the controller for Mission Neighborhood Centers, Inc., in San Francisco as well as the CFO/vice president for EEI Holding Corp.

Lon Sun, Director of Development
Lon Sun has spent half of his career in the credit card processing industry with Central Payment, having joined the Company in 2006. Lon, a Cisco Certified Network Associate, leverages his technical expertise to provide practical solutions for business processes and to help streamline day-to-day operations.
Prior to his tenure at Central Payment, Lon served in Technical Support for Card Payment Solutions, Inc., the predecessor company to Central Payment. With his breadth of industry experience, Lon is recognized for his ability to deliver efficient solutions that support both business and customer requirements.

San Huynh, Director of Finance
San Huynh joined Central Payment in February 2006 as Director of Finance with a portfolio of responsibilities which include accounting, agent payroll, collections and merchant accounting. Additionally, she prepares financial statements for the Company and heads financial planning.
Prior to joining Central Payment, San served in the account acquisitions department. handling collections and billing for Card Payment Solutions, Inc., the predecessor company to Central Payment. She earned her BA at UC Santa Barbara.

Tommy Chang, Director of Vendor Relations
As Director of Vendor Relations, Tommy Chang is responsible for product research and development for Central Payment.
A graduate of UC Santa Barbara, he has an extensive background in the bankcard and telemarketing industries. Tommy brings a mix of sales and corporate experience to Central Payment where he directs development of new products and services. Having worked as an independent sales agent as well as a customer service representative for Central Payment’s predecessor company since 2002, he has a broad understanding of customer issues and requirements.

Mark Wynne, Director of Technical Support
As the Director of Technical Support, Mark Wynne is responsible for the technical support for new and existing merchants for Central Payment.
Mark joined Central Payment in 2006, after having spent seven years at COMPUCOM SYSTEMS as an IT/MIS systems engineer and lead project manager. He holds numerous Information Technology certifications as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and a Dell Premier Access Certified Technician. Among the certifications are HP NetServer technical professional and IBM desktop/mobile/service systems. He also holds several software applications certificates.
Prior to his career in technical support, he served as a Specialist in the United States Air Force and in the Honolulu Police Department.

Jason Chan, Director of Recruiting
As the Director of Recruiting, Jason Chan is responsible for managing the recruiting operations for Central Payment.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree, with an emphasis in Finance from the University of San Francisco, McLaren School of Business. He has an extensive background in sales, business development, and customer relations. He uses his strong leadership skills and past career experiences to contribute to his responsibilities and success of the company. His department is vital to the continual growth of Central Payment. He joined our team in September, 2009.

Michael Cadiena, Director of Terminal Programming
Michael Cadiena joined Central Payment following his graduation from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology in 2006. As the Director of Terminal Programming, Michael is responsible for managing the terminal programming for new and existing customers. Prior to being Central Payment’s Director of Terminal Programming, Michael Cadiena served in various positions in Underwriting, Risk Management and Retention.

Ian Wagner, Director of Deployment
Ian Wagner joined Central Payment in July of 2009 as the Director of Deployment and is responsible for all aspects related to equipment purchasing and deployment. As a former Deployment Specialist at CardPayment Solutions, Central Payment's predecessor company, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the company. In 2002, Ian received an AA in Occupational Studies at Santa Barbara City College.

Nile Johnson, Director of Underwriting
Nile Johnson joined Central Payment in 2006 and as the Director of Underwriting is responsible for managing new account submissions. Prior to his tenure at Central Payment, he held positions with Orion Real Estate and PRIMEDIA Information Inc., where he managed data acquisition and publication of information that served as “industry standard” books in the construction industry.
He brings more than a decade of experience in and understanding of accuracy and of process efficiency to Central Payment. This expertise is a valuable resource for customers who are applying to work with the Company.

Timothy Witucki, Director of Merchant Relations
As the director of merchant relations at CPAY, Tim oversees both the Merchant Support and Retention departments for the Company.
Prior to joining CPAY, Witucki consulted for both Stryker Orthopaedics and Wells Fargo Bank, helping to establish infrastructures for those organizations’ call center operations. Having spent his entire career in the management and training of customer support staff, Tim brings a thorough understanding of the process as well as the systems required to support a rapidly expanding customer base.
