Central Payment Announces the Addition of Payware Mobile for the Apple iPhone
SAN RAFAEL, CA, MARCH 26, 2010 -- Central Payment announces today that it will add the Payware Mobile Reader for the iPhone to enhance its product offerings to its merchant base.
"Central Payment recognizes the iPhone as one of the most technologically advanced devices in the mobile arena. With the Payware Mobile Reader added to our product line, Central Payment would be able to provide a revolutionary new way of accepting electronic payment," said Zachary Hyman, Managing Partner of Central Payment.
The Payware Mobile Reader enables a merchant to be able to swipe credit card transactions directly on the iPhone and allow customers to sign directly on the screen of the iPhone. The app and reader combination allows the merchant to transmit the transaction securely over the Edge and 3G signals.
The Payware Mobile application is currently available for download through the App Store on iTunes. Payware Mobile is currently the only application in the App Store that has a proprietary peripheral designed specifically for the application that allows swiped transactions with end-to-end encryption.
