Central Payment Names Veteran Executive to Newly-Created Position

John Hinkle Becomes CFO and General Counsel for Leading Card Processor

SAN RAFAEL, CA - (BUSINESS WIRE) JUNE 21, 2010 -- Central Payment (CPAY), a leading national credit, debit and gift card processor, today named John Hinkle to the newly-created position of general counsel and chief financial officer, it was announced by Matthew Hyman, the firm's co-managing partner.

"As both a CPA and an attorney, John brings valuable cross-functional experience to us," Matthew Hyman said. "As a provider of transaction processing services to a variety of industries, it is essential that we have an executive with a thorough understanding of the financial and legal sides of our business."

Hinkle joins CPAY after having spent more than 30 years in the profit and nonprofit worlds. He holds a BS and MBA from Southeast Missouri State University and a law degree from Southern Illinois University. Prior to joining CPAY, Hinkle has previously served as the controller for Mission Neighborhood Centers, Inc., in San Francisco as well as the CFO/vice president for EEI Holding Corp.

"I'm excited about joining the CPAY management team," he said. "As with any young and growth-oriented company, the importance of experienced managers with broad expertise is part of the process that leads to long-term success."

Because of its strong growth, CPAY recently relocated to larger national headquarters in San Rafael, CA. "We are in a high growth mode," Matthew Hyman said. "As we are adding to our service offerings, we are also filling out senior management infrastructure to support our expansion. As experienced entrepreneurs we understand the importance of a building an all-star management team."

CPAY was founded in 2005 by twin brothers Matthew and Zachary Hyman, who serve as co-managing partners.
